An adventurer with a big heart. Klaus moved to Ul’dah from Dalmasca eight years ago to live his new life free from the chains he spent most of his life in. He is extroverted, goofy and above all else, a hedonist. Klaus is looking to surround himself with people to make sure he has a chance at living a normal, peaceful and happy life. Although at times, Klaus seems completely oblivious or ignorant, he is just socially and emotionally stunted.
Klaus is intuitive, curious and creative. He craves affection and affirmation but above all else he is loyal to his dear friends. he currently finds himself living in Ishgard as a member of the Fire's Rest Caravan and working at the Laughing Fox , a new family and friends to keep Klaus company from his lonely and self destructive tendencies.

Early Life

Klaus was born to the matriarch of his village in the Golmore Jungle. He lived under her protection until the customary tradition for male Viera’s at age thirteen would venture out into the jungle and live a solitary life, only to return to procreate. Typically, the father would return to help teach and guide the youth… but Klaus’s father never came… Determined to live his life as per the teachings and traditions of his tribe. He set out on his own to make his way in the world. This would lead him into two Garlean’s, a man and a woman, exploring the newly conquered borders. They knew that if Klaus were to be captured by anyone else in their company, he would surely be taken into slavery or killed. Fearing the worst, the female Garlean would decide to adopt him and spare him any further hardships.
Living under Garlean rule as well as Garlean traditions, his new mother would teach him her ways of being a reaper and to defend himself. After she died when he turned eighteen, his life would forever change due to his father’s cruelty and a forced pact with a voidsent.
Suffering under the traumatic situation his father left him in for the past 36 years in Dalmasca, Klaus would finally be free of his chains and leave to Ul’dah…Never looking back.

Current Life

8 years after he left Dalmasca, Klaus lives a free and hedonistic life to relearn his missed years of his youth and create long and lasting relationships. Currently he is an adventurer and explorer but also currently is living as a member of the Fire's Rest Caravan and working at the Laughing Fox.

Future Life

His partners are always his first priority. With his child on the way, he wishes to secure this precious future for all that he is involved with. Looking to the horizon for new tales to add to his ongoing story.
